Ditton, Widnes – New Build
In November 2006 United opened for trading in its first modular build convenience store on Liverpool Road in the Ditton area of Widnes. The site was formerly occupied by Ditton Primary School and lies in an established residential area of the town. United bought the site from Halton Borough Council and carried out site remediation before commencing site works. Utilising the "Yorkon" modular build, the shell was delivered and assembled in only one day. The store will trade from a sales area of 3,000 sqft.
